I love these one of a kind pieces made by artist Courtney Prince. They are so fresh and vibrant. You can tell she puts a lot of love, thought, and a unique style into each one of her pieces. Though this jewelry is not every day wear, it is so bold it could spice up any outfit you pair it with. I would wear one of these cuffs with a neutral dolman sleeve sweater, trouser jeans, and wedges into the darkness of a girls night on the town. They would also go really well with a maxi dress or skirt. I want to own one of these pieces so badly. (Who am I kidding? I want to own ALL of these pieces) These are definitely for the girl who dresses for herself and wears whatever she wants - that chic/boho-gypsy girl that gets 15 compliments on her hair that she just rolled out of bed with.

Par Avion
Airmail certainly is not a new thing, not modern in the least, but I have been noticing more and more airmail accessories popping up in preparedness for spring. I am finding myself drawn to these pieces. I am thinking of picking up a little airmail accessory or makeup pouch to add to my purse. I just love the classic red and blue stripes combined with the whimsy of these accessories. Totally cute.

My precious...
I have always loved the look of a bevy of rings clustered onto the hand of a fashionable female. (Read: I have yet to see a man with several rings on pull off this look) For those of you who were lucky enough to know me in high school, you will remember that I wore a ring on literally almost every finger, almost every day of sophomore and junior year. There is most definitely a right way and a wrong way to wear this many rings. I think the images above are most certainly the right way. I need to play around with my collection a little more (see below) to come up with the perfect combo but I am going to be rocking the rings in 2012. It is just the right mix of gypsy and overdoing something that is perfectly suited for my tastes.
part of my collection of costume jewelry rings
I assure you it is not a problem.... it is BEYOND a problem now :)
* That HUGE butterfly ring is still on the sales card for a reason - I only wear it while I am watching Jerseylicious. Don't judge.

Champagne Sequins Clutch - $170
When considering what to wear for New Years Eve, and making my final selections, I realized I was missing a key piece to finish my outfit...a clutch purse. I have been looking at the clutch that is at the top of the photos on the Nordstroms website but have been reluctant to purchase for several reasons. I worry that a clutch will not be big enough to hold all of my essentials (keys, wallet, cell phone, makeup, Altoids, pens, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, hairspray, and glasses -- I don't travel lightly). I also am only drawn to clutches that have some personality, see above, and fearful I will pick something that will go with nothing. Thus, I do not own, nor have I purchased a clutch.
I set out this week to try to find a clutch that sparks my interest that would also be neutral. In my quest I found SO MANY amazing options that now I am too overwhelmed to even narrow it down. I found SO many cute clutches that now I don't even know how to choose just one. I think I need two. One that is neutral and one that is unique and a one of a kind.
But how do I pick!??
I don't even know how I pared it down to the photos above. I literally have at LEAST 50 saved to my computer and am forcing myself to just post what I have in an effort to regain some sanity and get out from in front of this laptop. There are just too many fabulous clutches out there...
oh...and I also came across some, ummm...other items too.
REAL alligator clutch - looks scratchy
And, while this doesn't fit the 'clutch' theme...it had to be shared
Came across this while hunting for clutches on Etsy...
Imagine showing up at Nana's house and this is on the davenport!! Yup that is a REAL needlepoint pillow. WOWSERS.

Shop it. F21.
I ordered this in turquoise and coral.
Hot Pink Blazer - F21 $24.80
I REALLY need one of these in my life
I've already ordered the poncho top, the cameo, and the pyramid bracelet. I just couldn't resist...even despite my attempts at trying to be more frugal and not purchasing everything that flutters my heart. My excuse for allowing myself to purchase these items (and a few more) was that I will want to have some new clothes for my Caribbean/Mexico cruise that is coming up very soon...2 months exactly from today :) I can't wait to get my new items, which have already shipped.

Shop It.
Pinterest introduced me to a fun accessories website today called BaubleBar. Their stuff is so gorgeous. I have really been looking for a few new statement pieces like these. Because this is a new site to me, I can't speak for quality, but if you go look around on the website you can see that virtually EVERY fashion/celebrity magazine has featured their products, and that has to say something in itself. When you sign up (for a limited time only) you get a $10 credit towards your first purchase - but it only lasts for 72 hours, and the shipping is free. Check out these stunners they have on their website...I smell a last minute present for myself! :)
Aren't these gorgeous?! Currently they are on a waiting list but they are totally worth the wait! I need these in my life.
I love opal/moonstone with its milky iridescence.
Tortoise Shell is hot right now and only going to be getting hotter. Love this.
Brushed gold - Love this look
Isn't this stuff great!? Most of the BaubleBar items are statement pieces but are also very wearable. This is the type of jewelry that can really ramp up your look. Just looking at these little beauties makes me think about how great they would be to debut on New Years Eve. Which reminds me...I need to start nailing down a cute outfit with some sparkles.
I just edited my original post. When I read through it this morning it just sounded like a commercial. I certainly am not sponsored by BaubleBar or have any kind of a relationship with them, but just love to share fun websites and products! I love to shop and love to help people style :)
Have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend!!
